In a fit of wild jealousy, Leontes, the King of Sicily, condemns his wife to death, convincing himself that she is pregnant with his best friend’s child. Part tragedy, part comedy, part romance, The Winter’s Tale takes us on a roller coaster journey from friendship to jealousy, love to rage, cruelty to passion and from revenge to regret.

Running at just under 2 hours, with music, dance and an ensemble cast of 17 actors, Secret House follow their hugely successful run of Shakespeare’s Cymbeline, with a unique adaptation of The Winter’s Tale. Directed by Sean O’Riordan and designed by Isabel Hudson, this production combines the magical charm of a fairytale with the gripping tension of a thriller!
