Theatre Tickets

Sydney theatre is comprable with London, New York and Athens, but without the crowds. Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.

Mood matters. When you need your time off, you need your time off. You don’t always know when that is going to hit, but you always know when it’s hit.

Eat, drink and be merry

Life is short and love is rare. Enjoy the company of others, even if you start your night alone.

Talk to each other

Activities that facilitate engagement with others are more important than ever. Theatre gets you talking. Sitting with friends, facing the same direction. Argue, appreciate and nourish each other, and know who you are by the company you keep.

Spend money wisely

In a modern democracy, how you spend is your most valuable vote. Keep money in the community, with small businesses and artists and keep money flowing around you.

Theatre can be so simple, that’s why its so complicated. Theatre is not just what it appears to be. It is ephemeral, connective, and better experienced in groups. Going to theatre is more than evoking emotion, it’s inspiring reaction and conversation. It is engagement driven, and that’s what makes it interesting.  Think of yourself as the place where history is written. Theatre comes alive in you and you need to be remembered.

Enjoy the true power.

The advantages
of free flowing activity organisation.

On I LOVE YOU NOW: Cronin herself takes on the female roles, while Paul Gleeson is the masculine counterpart. Both are fabulously accomplished; impressive with the complexities and elegance they bring to the show, and as a couple, their infallible chemistry is the main drawcard. It is always what happens between them that is captivating, and important. We watch how they treat each other, listen to the way they speak to one another, inside this room of secrets, and through a range of characters and their clandestine intimacies, our own fires of curiosity and passion, are stoked back to life.

On THE HAM FUNERAL: In the fear of the other lay the seeds of unease about our selves. The Ham Funeral forces us to accept a contemporary absence of our white Australian world. Yet, as Alain Badiou would say”… it holds within that absence of a world an outline of our world, its drawing, its watermark, a sketch on the walls of an underwater cathedral, a network of event traces that are to be traversed and assembled.” It is in theatre that The Ham Funeral strums its corresponding vibration in our soul, and in Kate Gaul’s direction that Patrick White finds a true vehicle for his voice.
